Who I am Now….

Who am I now? Well the answer to that is honestly still foggy…however I do know that this semester of nursing school has helped me see more clearly. I have found out that, I HATE not sleeping, studying all night long, eating junk, and especially waking up at 4:30 a.m.. But I must admit, secretly I love every minute of my life. (okay maybe not every minute) The challenges I've faced have been conquered! I could not of done it alone though!! My family, friends, and Jesus really are the ones who should get the credit. I would be a mess without them.

My purpose this semester really has been proven and I can't explain how awesome feels to know you belong exactly where you're at.
With my University's motto ,"Live Your Purpose" I have found that "purpose" is huge in life. Everyone has a purpose, some just haven't discovered it yet, and that's ok!
God will eventually show His purpose for you. Mine was shown when I decided to attend CBU nursing school. I love it there and truly feel like I belong. My relationship with God has been strengthened so much from my time in nursing school.
So who am I now? A dedicated follower of Christ who lives to glorify Him through nursing!

Thankful

This holiday season someone has or will ask you "What are you thankful for?" Whenever I'm asked, I think about what I pray and thank God for every night before I go to sleep. The first thing I am so blessed to have is an incredible, supportive family.
My family is such a blessing for multiple reasons; but one unique reason is how incredibly surprising they are. Family functions are full of pranks, loud laughter, and embarrassing stories, but I love every minute of it.
The second thing I'm thankful for is my amazing friends who have stood by my side throughout every thing, even nursing school! I have totally missed out on so many important things due to school, but my friends are so understanding and keep motivating me to do my best.
Safe to say I do NOT have a social life but it really does make me thankful to have friends who still make me feel loved.

Last, but definitely not last on my blessings list, is my amazing school.
CBU has strengthened my relationship with Christ making me forever grateful to be a student there. The faculty is so encouraging, easy to talk to, and so helpful. CBU really has helped me with my challenges, I could not get through nursing school without Christ guiding me. I love the fact that we all pray before each class, it is so uplifting and really makes the days great.
